J.S. Cardone helmed this slick sequel to the star-studded 8MM. Up-and-coming politician David Huxley (Johnathon Schaech) gets unexpectedly derailed by a blackmailer who possesses film of the steamy three-way affair he had with his fiancée (Lori Heuring) and a pretty young model (Zita Görög). But Huxley finds more than his career on the line when he steps into the sleazy realm of pornography to pin down the extortionist.

An American actress best known for her role in the David Lynch mystery "Mulholland Dr. ," Lori Heuring has generally had starring roles in smaller projects and supporting parts in larger ones. She made her professional screen debut in the rodeo-themed biopic "8 Seconds" in 1994 and had guest spots on "Walker, Texas Ranger" and the fantasy drama "Early Edition" later in the decade. She had parts in the low-budget action film "Animal Room" in '95 and in the thriller "The Operator," but her first starring role was in the mystery "The In Crowd," where she played a mentally disturbed woman. That led to Lynch's opaque mystery "Mulholland Dr." in 2001, the highest-profile role of her career. She had her next starring role with Tom Berenger in the crime drama "True Blue" and costarred in the little-seen comedic drama "King's Highway" in 2002. That same year she costarred with January Jones of "Mad Men" fame in yet another thriller, the ensemble film "Taboo." She could also be seen--in a small role--in Adam Sandler's "Anger Management" and as the star of the religious-themed drama "False Prophets" in 2006. Heuring also had recurring parts on the criminal drama "The Gates" and the action show "Alias," but she has typically found herself playing vulnerable young women being preyed upon by malevolent forces, as she did in the horror films "Hunger" and "Wicked Little Things."
