“My favorite recipe right now involves a lot of produce that is in season. It’s basically a fingerling potato and steak salad. What I do is I take a bud of mixed greens and I make a dressing that includes basil, garlic, red wine vinegar and olive oil and a little bit of salt. You mix that together to make a nice, light basil dressing. Then what we do is boil some baby fingerling potatoes until you can pierce them with a fork. You can do this with or without the steak but it’s always nice with it. I add blue cheese crumbles on top and some sliced cherry tomatoes, as well. Add a vinaigrette on top of all of that and that’s it. All of the flavors fuse together and it makes this really nice combo.”
