The new Discworld novel sees the Disc’s first train come steaming into town: To the consternation of the patrician, Lord Vetinari, a new invention has arrived in Ankh-Morpork – a great clanging monster of a machine that harnesses the power of all of the elements: earth, air, fire and water. This being Ankh-Morpork, it’s soon drawing astonished crowds, some of whom caught the zeitgeist early and arrive armed with notepads and very sensible rainwear.
I've finally updated the pages - I was a bit snowed under, whatwith a new job and various other things - and I've added a whole newsection about the forthcoming third new Discworld game, , set for release in March 1999, which you can get to byclicking or clicking on the Noirbutton in the menu bar to the left. I haven't yet updated the Discworldfaq correspondingly but I will be doing that soon.
