ACORE's Renewable Energy in the 50 States report provides an executive summary on the status of renewable energy implementation at the state-level. The report provides a two-page, high-level overview on the key developments that have shaped the renewable energy landscape in each state, including information on installed and planned capacity, markets, economic development, resource potential and policy.
I'm not going to deny that the two states do things differently. Texas has the fifth-lowest state and local tax burden (7.6 percent of state income) among the 50 states, according to the Tax Foundation. California has the sixth highest (11 percent). And while it's harder to measure, I do think it's fair to say that California has a much less business-friendly regulatory climate than Texas.
This series of coloring pages offers coloring pages specific to each of the 50 states. Each state has a similar collection of the basic coloring pages that represent the state and then some additional coloring pages that are unique to that state. These state specific coloring pages represent state locations of interest, historic or special buildings or structures, special customs, or other state features to color.
The 50 state coloring pages are a fun way to learn about your state and to teach about all the other states.
We would love to add any additional state specific coloring pages that you have drawn or have the rights to allow us to use. State governments, industries, agriculture, civic clubs, museums,or businesses that are unique to a state are welcome to send us content that we could post to showcase your state, event, location, or feature. Submissions should be quality drawings, suitable for coloring, in black and white photo format. See our contact page to submit your drawings or ask questons.
