Given that The Blacklist has been NBC’s biggest show in recent years, we can probably expect The Player to embrace that show’s format – i.e., bad guy of the week episodes over a season-long storyline. There are a few critical things to avoid, of course: for starters, some have felt that Blacklist’s most popular role (played by James Spader) was used as a side character; massive by the release of promos for the following week; and season 2’s mysteries were generally considered to be less interesting than season 1’s.
Ultimately, a vital key to The Player‘ success will be how well it can draw inspiration from shows in the same vein, and what new and distinct elements it will bring to the table. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date as more information on the series develops.
Awsome info and straight towards the level. I do not know if this can be in fact the perfect spot to question but do you individuals have any ideas on the place to employ some specialized writers? Thank you :)
