“1976…I was a lad of 15 living in Ireland at the time, going out with Denise Jones. I remember her because Don’t Go Breaking My Heart was playing on Top Of The Pops in the summer of 76 and each time I hear that song it brings back fond memories of my childhood in Ireland. Times there weren’t that great back then – we had troubles in Northern Ireland, but at least we had some of the best music to help get over the crappy days.”
